Mastering the Art of Recruiting on LinkedIn (Infographic)

The recruiting landscape is changing rapidly, and professional recruiters are increasingly turning to social media to find quality talent.  LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, has been described by the majority of recruiters as an extremely effective way of recruiting candidates. In fact, at the last count approximately 20,000 companies in the US alone were using LinkedIn for recruitment purposes.

Since it was founded in 2003, LinkedIn has become the platform of choice for both recruiters and professionals looking for work. While all social media sites bring their own unique strengths to different stages of the recruiting process, it’s clear to see why the more business focused LinkedIn has risen to the top.

With a colossal user base of around 500 million and its uniquely advanced search features, LinkedIn provides a one-stop shop for the recruiters of the digital age. LinkedIn’s functionalities serve to streamline pretty much every stage of the recruitment process, meaning that recruiters and candidates alike save much time and energy.

LinkedIn sets itself apart by providing a range of services that cater to recruiters of any size. While it is true that professional recruiters and big corporations invest huge sums for premium LinkedIn features, it is very doable to yield great results from even the most basic services … provided that you know how to use it.

Using LinkedIn to find potential candidates is relatively straightforward, but it won’t be as effective if you don’t set yourself up for recruiting success. So how can you make sure you get the most out of LinkedIn? The first step would be to read the below infographic courtesy of the team at Ayers Management. This handy infographic guide provides practical advice on how to best use the various free and premium LinkedIn recruiting tools to ensure that you attract only the best candidates for your business.
